No matter what corporation purchases the buiding it will always be the Sears Tower, just like theres still the Rosemont Horizon, Comiskey Park, The World Music Theater and so on!
Roly is correct it will always be the Sears Tower. However, it is a shame that they could not keep the name. Having an even more personal affection for the building (my mom worked there for umpteen years) i am sad to hear this news. Given the amount of times the building has been sold in the past two decades they were always able to keep the name.
The Cell will always be Comiskey but it is a shame that generations to come will think of the park as U.S. Cellular Field or now, Willis Tower. It is a shame that we will have to bear with this name. Especially such a crappy one. How much of a joke is the name Willis, thanks to Gary Coleman.
But the saying is correct. The name will not take away from the beauty that is this building. It will not take away from looking over the city from the sky deck and the scariness that is rising in the elevator and feeling the building sway on a windy day.
We will try to entertain while ur on a toilet or a plane. We will bring the pain, I will say it again, the pain in the rain as we sip on wine from spain. We still hope to waste ur time in the most entertaining way, and try to actually spit real game. We don't care what the critics have to say because day by day we will always be true and honest about our mental deficiency. Every author on this site will be bringing u their unique views of the world and none of them have been filtered or altered in anyway. Our tag line "Stupidity shouldn't be confined to the real world" is the hardcore basis of what we are trying to do here. In the end, the only thing we all have is memories, whether they are funny stories, instructions on how to punish the chooch, or jokes full of poor taste. So please, by all means, ROCK OUT WITH YOUR COCK OUT, bring a friend, and raise a glass to yourselves...we believe you're good people and deserve it!
- Have fun - Unload your thoughts - don't worry about going too far, because once you do, there is no point in stopping.
